About Us
Unchartered Waters is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization founded by Elijah Foster, a lifelong resident of the City of Chester. For more than 10 years, Mr. Foster has been using aquatics and his experience as a skilled fisherman to provide opportunities for inner city, at-risk youth to receive mentoring and develop a love for the water and the art of fishing.

Our Mission
The mission of Unchartered Waters is mentor, educate and inspire youth on the fundamentals of aquatic activities and opportunities. In doing so the organization coordinates a variety of fun and educational fishing excursions for youth ages 6-18 throughout the calendar year. Unchartered waters serves as a platform for youth to gain hands-on experience with skilled fishermen in a safe and nurturing environment, while being mentored by a dedicated group of men and women who are devoted to their overall success.
